This is a drama series centered around Du Xinyi (played by Liu Xiaohai). He is a typical artsy old boy who runs a café named Strange Coffee with his girlfriend Li La (played by Zhang Xinyi). The café also features Li La's best friend Qi Xuan, a lecherous and infatuated male chef named Pei Gua, and a handsome young barista named Park Il-jin. However, the plot takes a dramatic turn when one day, Li La suddenly abandons the entire café and disappears with all the money! Overnight, Du Xinyi faces the dual blow of emotional heartbreak and financial ruin. The team at Strange Coffee brainstorms together and works hard to overcome this predicament. Within a year, they successfully transform this once-near-bankrupt café burdened with debt into a bizarre paradise filled with quirky characters and hilarious antics.
