Ye Xinrong (played by Gigi Leung) is abandoned by her boyfriend of seven years and suddenly goes from being a hopeful bride to a leftover woman, with no hope of marriage. However, she accidentally meets her boss's driver, Gu Xuren (played by Ronald Cheng). She has no idea that Gu Xuren is actually a genuine Hong Kong boss who, due to having too many enemies, is forced to switch identities with the driver Guan Ren (played by Chapman To). Shedding the aura of a wealthy young master, Gu Xuren finds genuine feelings for Rongrong, and through the identity swap, Guan Ren meets Rongrong’s best friend Nikki (played by Xie Na) and falls for her at first sight. However, Nikki worries about sexual harassment in the office and is on guard, leading to many humorous situations. Meanwhile, Gu Xuren and Rongrong gradually fall in love while helping Guan Ren pursue Nikki.
Gu Xuren breaks the norm and promotes Rongrong to a high-ranking position in Hong Kong. Rongrong experiences a fantastical journey filled with private jets, luxury cars, high-end watches, designer clothing and accessories, and socializing in upper-class circles... all of which feel surreal to her. When Gu Xuren finally musters the courage to reveal his true identity and profess his love, Rongrong feels that his words are all lies and rejects him. However, at this moment, Gu Xuren, resolved to turn over a new leaf, refuses to let go. Even though Rongrong is no longer by his side, he continues to honor their love promise...
