To end her girlhood, rich young lady Pan Wenqi (Fong Fei-fei) wants to experience a leisurely rural life and accidentally meets land surveyor Da Li (A B), who is also from Taipei. After a brief misunderstanding, they develop feelings for each other. However, upon returning to Taipei, they face the awkwardness of being from different social classes. Compared to typical rich young ladies, Pan Wenqi is independent in character, yet she obediently listens to her parents and meets her future husband (Chen You), developing some feelings for him, which places her in a dilemma. When she is indecisive, Da Li makes a move, putting his arm around his "rival's" shoulder and playing a game of "wanting to welcome but refusing." After some playful antics, Da Li's background is revealed and all issues are resolved.
