Stephen (Mark Ruffalo) and Bloom (Adrien Brody) are brothers who have relied on each other since childhood. Skilled in deception, they have been abandoned by their adoptive parents. Gradually, they became accustomed to this way of life. In their schemes, Stephen always plans the big picture while Bloom executes the ideas. As adults, they continue to navigate the world through their cons, now joined by a quiet yet skilled Japanese girl, Bang Bang (Rinko Kikuchi).
