This film won the International Critics' Week award at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. Directed by Argentine filmmaker Santiago Mitre, it explores the issue of sexual assault from an unusual perspective. To practice her political beliefs, Paulina gives up a promising career as a lawyer to teach in a poor border town near her hometown. The challenges at work do not deter her ideals, but one night on her way home, she is raped, including by one of her own students. Faced with the dilemma of accusation or forgiveness, and the question of who should be held responsible for the violence, she struggles between her commitment to social reform and her personal trauma.
