The TV producer Ah Nam (played by Eric Tsang) has been feeling unaccomplished for a long time. Despite his immense talent, he struggles with socializing and ends up working on niche time slot programs. One day, he randomly encounters washed-up singer Ah Ken (played by Anthony Wong) in a public setting and realizes that Ah Ken is desperate to get back on stage. Observing Ah Ken's strange behavior, Ah Nam suddenly has an idea and sees a way for both of them to succeed. Ah Nam proposes to become Ah Ken's exclusive agent, promising to repackage him and ensure a successful comeback. It turns out that Ah Nam's plan is to have Kenny act crazy to attract media attention. Eager to return to the stage, Ah Ken agrees. Indeed, as Ah Nam expected, Kenny's erratic behavior draws massive media attention, rapidly making him famous. At this point, the TV station, desperate to have Kenny on their show, must humor Ah Nam's requests and moves him to a prime time slot where he can showcase his talents.
