Two high school girls, as close as sisters, go their separate ways after graduation: the wealthy girl lives alone in a villa, while the poor girl enters a training program. The poor girl's boyfriend, Jia Ming, falls in love with the wealthy girl, who politely refuses him out of moral obligation. However, on Christmas Eve, feeling lonely, they develop a relationship, and afterwards, the wealthy girl succumbs to guilt and self-destruction. The poor girl discovers that Jia Ming doesn't truly like her and dedicates herself to her training program, achieving excellent results.
