On May 12, 2008, a massive earthquake struck Sichuan Province in China. A certain military group's motorized infantry brigade, just returned from drills, lost communication with higher commands while on the way back to the camp. Brigade Commander Tang Xinsheng (played by Hou Yong) decisively ordered the troops to go to the disaster area for rescue.
