On August 8th, during the 25th National Day of Singapore, the internationally renowned Dhaka Lama visits Singapore, while the Japanese Red Army plans to assassinate him. Hong Kong Interpol officer Lei Tai (played by Alan Tam) is tasked with protecting Dhaka and annihilating the Red Army leader Saburo Kitajima. On the flight to Singapore, underworld figure Big B (played by Andy Lau) meets Dhaka and his girlfriend Ah Ling (played by Loletta Lee). Dhaka predicts that he and Ah Ling share the same destiny, facing the same challenge. As soon as the plane lands, Red Army members attack Dhaka, injuring both him and Ah Ling. Shockingly, both of them have the rare P blood type, and there are only three P blood type citizens in all of Singapore. If blood cannot be found within 8 hours, both will be in mortal danger. The remaining members of Kitajima's faction hidden in Singapore quickly begin hunting down those with P blood type. Lei Tai and his team are always one step behind.
