In the war of the celestial realm, the gods of Olympus defeated the evil Titans and imprisoned them underground. It is said that only the mighty godly bow of Epirus can release the Titans, but this artifact was lost in the mortal realm during the heavenly battle. Years later, the power-hungry and cold-blooded King Hyperion (played by Mickey Rourke) unleashes tyranny in a bid to crush Greece and destroy its wonders. The beautiful prophetess Phaedra (played by Freida Pinto) from the Sibyl's temple can foresee the future, and in the dungeons of Hyperion, she senses that a young man guided by the gods, Theseus (played by Henry Cavill), will obtain the godly bow and join forces with King Hyperion. However, Theseus swears to avenge his mother, who was killed in Hyperion's attack. As prophesied, Theseus finds the godly bow, but unfortunately, it falls into the hands of King Hyperion, who descends upon the city.
