This film is adapted from a true story. Alfred Freddy (portrayed by Anthony Hopkins) is the president of the world-renowned beer giant Heineken, famous for Heineken beer. However, during three weeks in 1983, he became famous for another reason. In early November, he was kidnapped and held hostage along with his driver for three weeks.
