Mr. Bean (played by Rowan Atkinson) is always a lucky fool. He unexpectedly wins a holiday trip to France in a lottery. Mr. Bean quickly packs his bags and heads to France to fulfill his avant-garde film dream! Upon arriving in Paris, Mr. Bean encounters a jury member from the Cannes Film Festival who is from Russia. With his quirky ideas, Mr. Bean hopes to shoot an avant-garde film about himself, so he nonchalantly takes along the lost son of the Russian jury member. They hop on a train, pretending to be father and son, but due to a language barrier, they end up causing a series of hilarious mishaps and eventually find themselves in trouble. Will Mr. Bean be arrested as a "kidnapper" or will he succeed in getting his film shortlisted at Cannes and winning a grand prize?
