This drama tells the story of Gao Ren (played by Zhou Chengao), a new police officer in Zhongzhou, who accidentally goes undercover in a telecom fraud gang and assists the Municipal Public Security Bureau in solving a major criminal case. Gao Ren, a graduate of the police academy, grew up at the train station and is a direct disciple of the notorious conman Ma Shifang. Under the guidance of his master, he learned various deceit techniques such as swindling, marriage fraud, lying, deceiving, scamming, and more, making him a promising candidate in the fight against fraud in the police force. Class leader Sister An Lingling's close friend falls victim to a pig slaughter scam. Gao Ren leads a five-person anti-fraud team from the police academy and repeatedly clashes with thug Li Xiaoguai, winning each time. The scam leader, Jiang Ye, has mixed feelings of love and hate towards him. The leaders of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, recognizing talent, assign team leader Zou Lei, disguised as a wealthy woman, to assist Gao Ren in successfully infiltrating the scam gang.
