After diligently working for the company for fifteen years, Henry (played by Jean-Pierre Léaud) faces the tragic outcome of being fired. Filled with resentment and hitting walls in life, he contemplates suicide in his despair. However, no matter what method he tries, he fails to take his own life. At that moment, he sees a small bar in the newspaper that is frequented by gang members and hitmen, and he decides to give it a shot.
