Jian Suhua (played by Wang Danfeng) and intern doctor Shen Haoru (played by Li Wei) are a couple. Shen hopes to marry Jian soon and live in the big city, while Jian Suhua willingly obeys the organization's assignment to support the construction in the country's border areas.
