Betty (played by Alba Gaïa Kraghede Bellugi) is a sensitive and timid little girl who lives with her parents in a gloomy big house next to a mental asylum. Betty lives in immense loneliness all day: her sister happily leaves home for school, her parents are in a broken relationship, the depths of the dark house, the dim sky... One day, a handsome young man named Ivan (played by Benjamin Ramon) escapes from the asylum. When Betty discovers the weak Ivan, her kindheartedness leads her to hide him in her home's storage room.
