Cheng Hui (played by Li Meifeng) has a mundane and dull marriage, but she is a romantic woman who loves to fantasize, so she can only express her hidden passion in her diary. One day, a thief breaks into Cheng Hui's home, and detective Gao Zheng (played by Wan Ziliang) is assigned to apprehend him. In a twist of fate, he accidentally finds Cheng Hui's diary and discovers the fiery spirit hidden within this seemingly cold woman.
