The arrogant mountain god piled the two great mountains of Wangwu and Taihang in front of the home of the Foolish Old Man (voiced by Zhang Zhankun). The stubborn Foolish Old Man is determined to dig away the mountains. Facing numerous doubts and immense difficulties, he does not back down, persevering alongside his son and the villagers. During the struggle, the Foolish Old Man's son, Qingfeng (voiced by Li Xin), and the forest sprite, Weiguang (voiced by Zhuque Cheng), come into contact and understand each other, discovering another solution—moving the mountains away. Ultimately, not only is everyone shocked by the Foolish Old Man's bravery and perseverance, but they are also moved by the mutual understanding and sacrifice between the Foolish Old Man's son and the forest sprite. The Foolish Old Man and the mountain god eliminate their respective obsessions and prejudices, "with the mountains in their hearts gone, the mountains before their eyes are moved," leading to the two great mountains being removed by heaven. Humanity achieves harmonious coexistence with nature through courage, perseverance, and wisdom.
