The beautiful and young canoe athlete Ruan Xiaoyue (played by Chen Qiaoen) suffers the loss of her coach boyfriend He Tianhua (played by Huang Xiaoming), with whom she was about to get married. Eager to uncover the truth, she suddenly leaves her team at a crucial moment in her promising sports career and goes to a university to serve as a temporary coach for the school's dragon boat team. Ruan Xiaoyue's arrival shatters the dreams of the big boys on the dragon boat team, who were having fun and admiring beautiful women, replacing it with endless grueling training and the nightmare of a stern coach. She challenges the boys’ limits, testing their resolve and endurance. This leads the team, led by the captain (played by Huang Xuan), to rebel and seek ways to escape her strict regime. Facing skepticism from the school, Ruan Xiaoyue leaves the dragon boat team in disappointment. Meanwhile, the boys learn about Ruan Xiaoyue's secret love and unspoken grievances. They take a special approach to apologize, inviting her back to the team, and ultimately they win the championship. Ruan Xiaoyue finally understands Tianhua's endless love and support for her, as well as the true reason for his passion for dragon boating, and she finds her own future…
