Francis (Gad Elmaleh) is a kind-hearted valet who quietly harbors his own dreams and hopes. Unfortunately, those dreams abandon him when his girlfriend cruelly rejects his marriage proposal. Disheartened, he walks the streets, where he encounters a loud argument between a couple. The woman, named Ilona (Alice Taglioni), is with a well-known politician. Little does Francis know that at the moment a journalist clicks the shutter, his life will change dramatically. The next day, a large photo in the magazine causes a sensation. It turns out that Ilona is the politician's mistress, and in a bid to rid himself of his relationship with her, the politician unwittingly drags the passing Francis into his troubles, making Francis his scapegoat. Thus, Francis unexpectedly begins a cohabitation with Ilona—what kind of humorous situations will arise between the elegant and aloof Ilona and Francis?
