Ibora, Karl, and Fred are good friends who all love diving. However, an underwater accident causes a rift between Karl and Fred, leading them to part ways. Two years later, while Karl and Paula are conducting underground measurements in Vienna, they encounter a collapse. Karl gets trapped in an underground tomb containing a tattooed mummy. Fred returns to help Paula rescue Karl. Just as the rescue operation is in full swing, Karl mysteriously appears before Paula and Fred with gold coins from the tomb. The ruthless collector Santar learns the secret of the tattooed mummy and pressures curator Schreiber to secretly meet with Karl to demand photos of the mummy's tattoos. However, Santar suddenly appears and kills Schreiber. At that moment, the wooden steps in the underground chamber suddenly retract, causing Santar to fall to his death, and the sacred book shatters into dust.
