Since joining the United States Marine Corps in 2002, patriotic young man Jack Carter (played by Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin) has spent ten years serving, facing challenges around the world. One day, Jack finally receives a long-awaited vacation and returns to his hometown of Bridgeton, where he meets his two sisters: the divorced Amanda (played by Camille Sullivan) and rebellious teenager Lily. After the initial joyful reunion, some unease inevitably begins to surface. One day, Lily and her boyfriend Darren, who has a history of drug dealing, go out for a fun day and accidentally witness a murder. The murderers belong to a violent extremist organization dissatisfied with the government's policies, and they kidnap the two who were unable to escape the scene.
