For a long time, Niki (Daniel Brühl) and James (Chris Hemsworth) have been fierce rivals. Niki is serious and respectful of the profession of racing, while James likes to take risks and uses racing as a means for his personal adventures. Despite their completely different personalities, their competition has never stopped. To change his immature character, James marries the model Suzy (Olivia Wilde), whom he meets by chance, while Niki finds his lifelong love and joins the Ferrari team. Meanwhile, James, whose life is on the decline, joins the McLaren team, and the two enemies are once again on the battlefield of life. During a race, a heavy rain causes Niki to have a serious accident, allowing James to win the championship. However, Niki does not give up; despite being urged by many to stop, he resolutely returns to the racetrack in a very short time.
