To outsiders, Peter (played by Liam Neeson) is undoubtedly a happy man, with a gentle and beautiful wife, Lisa (played by Laura Linney), and a stable and fulfilling marriage. However, recently Peter has noticed Lisa's behavior becoming increasingly strange, and his suspicions lead him to believe that Lisa may have found someone new.
