Danny (played by Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (played by Seann William Scott) are a pair of work partners whose slightly odd job involves broadcasting the dangers of drugs to students and promoting the anti-drug program sponsored by Red Bull. Wheeler is enthusiastic about the work, but 35-year-old Danny finds the monotonous job frustrating. His harsh personality ultimately drives his girlfriend away, and when Danny attempts to salvage his declining relationship and life by proposing, he is met with her rejection. In a fit of anger, Danny resorts to violence, causing both him and Wheeler to engage in community service to avoid jail time. Working with kids at a children's home is no easy task; Danny is paired with Augie, a fantasizing teenage boy who regularly participates in medieval-themed battles with a group of similarly dressed friends. Wheeler is partnered with Ronnie, a foul-mouthed young black boy whose next curse word is unpredictable. The duo often contemplates giving up due to the challenges of their job, but as they spend more time with the kids, they learn lessons they never knew they needed...
