Pablo Qintero (Eusebio Poncela) is a renowned director and screenwriter in Spain, but behind his glamorous exterior lies an unknown side. He deeply loves his gay boyfriend Juan Bermudez (Miguel Molina), who is quite cold towards him. Pablo's sister Tina Qintero (Carmen Maura) is a transgender woman who, after experiencing a setback in her sexual life, harbors a deep hatred for men. Tina lives with a model named Ada (Manuela Velasco), but Ada's daughter falls in love with Pablo. When Pablo meets the possessive Antonio Benitez (Antonio Banderas), all relationships become even more complicated. The film "Law of Desire," directed by the famous Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar, won the Best Feature Film Award at the 37th Berlin International Film Festival in 1987. The film addresses themes of transsexuality, incest, homosexuality, and male nudity through exaggerated portrayals of sexuality and violent crime, challenging traditional moral views.
