This film tells the story of an elderly woman, Angela (played by Danuta Szaflarska), who lives in isolation during the days leading up to her death. In this cold and lonely world, she experiences both a fear of death and memories of her past happiness and dreams. Accompanied only by her small dog whom she calls "Phlia," Angela talks to herself and answers her own questions. She is deeply concerned about her son but is ultimately unable to see him. As death quietly approaches, Angela often gazes at the swing outside as if reminiscing about happier times. In the calm, nostalgic black-and-white shadows, the film silently captures the elderly woman's final moments. This film won the Audience Award, Best Actress, Best Sound, and Critic's Award at the 2007 Polish Film Festival.
