This is a typical American heroic film. During the Vietnam War, many young people like Vincent (played by Anthony Barrile), who had ideals of participating in the war or various reasons for being drafted, joined the airborne division. Although they were part of the same unit, the atmosphere within the military was not very harmonious due to widespread racial discrimination at the time. One day, the airborne division received a mission to capture Hill 937. When Vincent's airborne unit landed at the designated location, they found that the North Vietnamese army was already prepared for defense. Thus, an exceptionally arduous seesaw battle began. The North Vietnamese had a significant numerical advantage, and the American casualties were heavy. But to accomplish their mission, the previously distrustful soldiers of different races put aside all their past prejudices and worked together to advance. After 11 attacks, they finally captured Hill 937. Due to the numerous dead, the soldiers referred to it as "Hamburger Hill."
