This film is a tribute to Queen, legendary frontman Freddie Mercury, and their music, a journey filled with love, pain, acceptance, and music. Freddie Mercury (played by Rami Malek) was once an ordinary baggage handler at Heathrow Airport. With a passion for music, he formed the band Queen with Brian May (played by Gwilym Lee), Roger Taylor (played by Ben Hardy), and John Deacon (played by Joseph Mazzello). The rise of this iconic band from nothing to greatness, from estrangement to reunion, and from low points to peaks, seems to encapsulate Freddie's entire life. In his final days, Freddie made the most important decision of his life – to pour his heart and soul into song during the greatest “live aid” rock concert in music history.
