Just past his 21st birthday, Da Fu (played by Wen Zhang) is a patient with autism. His father, Wang Xincheng (played by Jet Li), raised Da Fu alone after his wife's death. Now, Wang Xincheng is suffering from liver cancer and feels that his time is running out. Although Aunt Chai (played by Zhu Yuanyuan), who runs a small shop downstairs, often selflessly helps this father and son duo, Wang Xincheng is still troubled about how to secure Da Fu's future.
