This film tells the legendary life of a piano genius. In 1900, aboard the luxury liner Virginian, an orphan is abandoned in first class, raised by a sailor on the ship, and named 1900 (played by Tim Roth). As 1900 grows up, he shows an extraordinary talent for piano, playing in the ship's band, and everyone who hears him is deeply moved. The father of jazz, Jelly Roll Morton, hears about 1900's skills and comes aboard to challenge him, only to leave feeling inferior and dejected. Unfortunately, all of this happens at sea; 1900 never wants to set foot on land, until one day he falls in love with a girl, and emotions flow through the piano keys. Will he step onto land for love and start a new life, stunning the world with his music? How will he compose his extraordinary life?
