Finland is the closest European country to Japan, only a ten-hour flight away. Yukie (played by Satomi Kobayashi) runs a Japanese restaurant called "Seagull's Diner" in the picturesque capital of Helsinki, hoping to win customers' hearts with simple yet warm traditional hand rolls, but unfortunately, things don't go as planned, and the restaurant often remains empty. Later, Midori (played by入片桐) and Masako (played by真佐子罇), for different reasons, come to help out there. Along with them, young handsome customers who are fans of Japanese culture initially just stop by to observe, but soon they are drawn in by the aroma of cinnamon rolls. There are also Finnish elderly ladies charmed by the place, a middle-aged man who used to work there and can't forget the original coffee machine, and a middle-aged woman earnestly asking how to make a scarecrow to curse her husband. These interesting and genuine people form a light connection around the Seagull's Diner.
