In 1931, on September 18th, Japanese aggressors forcibly occupied our Northeast, attempting to exploit its abundant war resources to fulfill their ambition of annihilating China and ruling the world. As a result, the Chinese nation entered a dark period. However, the Chinese people are not afraid of tyranny and are willing to sacrifice for freedom. Under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, all ethnic groups, social classes, and political parties united to form a nationwide anti-Japanese united front, embarking on a hard-fought anti-Japanese war with tremendous sacrifices. The film "Hard Bones" is based on this historical background, telling an unknown story of the resistance. Whenever the Chinese nation faces a crisis, there are always some hard-boned individuals stepping forward. In the harsh winds and heavy snow of the black land, a special armed force of the Anti-Japanese League is active - the Snow Wolf Vanguard. This group of hard-boned fighters has faced life and death in the icy mountains and snowy plains for fourteen years, never yielding and never ceasing to fight. They instill fear in the hearts of the Japanese. Victory is on the horizon for them. In "Hard Bones," the group of hard-boned individuals holds only one belief: the Chinese nation must not be humiliated, and the children of China must not be deceived. As doomsday approaches, the Japanese Kwantung Army, unwilling to accept defeat, attempts to make a desperate struggle. Their last hope lies in seventeen military fortifications secretly built on the Sino-Soviet border, dubbed the "Eastern Maginot Line." These fortifications are the biggest obstacle to the Soviet Red Army's major counteroffensive. Without proper reconnaissance, there will be tremendous losses. To minimize casualties, it's essential to obtain the troop deployment maps of the Japanese fortresses. This is a daunting ultimate task. Our hero, Yang Ziliang, the captain of the Snow Wolf Vanguard, volunteers to tackle this tough mission. A brutal life-and-death confrontation between iron-blooded soldiers and the enemy ensues...
