Detailed introduction

This film (drama)Also known asSeto Surya,is aNepal, USA, Qatar, NetherlandsProducerwomen sex,At2016Released in year 。The dialogue language isNepali,Current Douban rating6.5(For reference only)。
After years of continuous civil war, a Nepalese communist finally packs his bags and returns to his remote hometown with an orphan he meets along the way to attend his deceased father's funeral. His biological brother has joined the opposing side in the civil war, and the two, being irreconcilable, agree to a temporary truce; his wife has given birth to a daughter by another man, who believes he is her biological father. During the perilous journey of carrying the body down the mountain for cremation, the long-held conflicts finally erupt. The director cleverly incorporates the decade-long Nepalese civil war into a funeral; in this remote mountain village, gender inequality and the caste system remain deeply entrenched. The male protagonist, although he once fought for modern universal values, must submit to the village elders who adhere to ancient customs in order to fulfill his deceased father's funeral rites. Modernity and tradition, religion and secularism, even family and kinship, war and peace, will ultimately heal under the fluttering Nepali flag in the daylight.
