A batch of soldiers has arrived to be stationed in a small village in Thailand. Among them is a soldier named KENG (played by Banlop Lomnoi), who befriends a village boy named TONG (played by Sakda Kaewbuadee). At first, TONG has a crush on a girl, but they ultimately miss each other. While helping at a factory, TONG learns to drive from KENG, and the two develop a deep bond... The relationship between KENG and TONG gradually transcends friendship. TONG's mother accidentally discovers a card expressing TONG's feelings for KENG. To prevent her son from getting deeper into his feelings, she takes them through an underground tunnel to pray for blessings. In the dense jungle, they unknowingly hear an ancient legend — that love can transform the souls of lovers into tigers. Unexpectedly, this turns out to be prophetic... This film won the Jury Prize at the 57th Cannes Film Festival.
