John Lithgow portrays Roger Ailes, one of the founders and former chairman of Fox News; Charlize Theron plays former Fox News host Megyn Kelly; Nicole Kidman portrays former host Gretchen Carlson; Margot Robbie plays a fictional character named Kayla Pospisil, an assistant producer; Allison Janney plays Ailes' lawyer Susan Estrich; Malcolm McDowell portrays Rupert Murdoch; Bridgit Mendler plays Julia Clarke; Liv Hewson plays Megyn Kelly's assistant Lily; and Holms plays host Martha MacCallum, a defender of Ailes.
