Juliette (played by Kristin Scott Thomas) kills her 6-year-old son with her own hands and is sentenced to 15 years in prison. During this time, her husband divorces her, and her parents cut ties with her, leaving only her younger sister Lili secretly missing her beloved sister. 15 years later, Juliette is released from prison and temporarily stays at Lili's (played by Elsa Zylberstein) home.
