The first half of this film introduces the research findings and life of the famous psychologist Wilhelm Reich, including interviews with relevant figures and archival footage. Reich dedicated himself to combining psychoanalysis with communism, claiming that orgone energy from life itself was the key to curing humanity's ills, and invented the seemingly absurd orgone energy accumulator. Reich's actions were soon banned by the U.S. government, and he unfortunately died in prison. In 1971 Yugoslavia, a worker vehemently opposes the newly formed red bourgeoisie, while Milena (played by Milena Dravic), who believes that sexual freedom is essential to achieving communism, preaches the greatness of sexuality to neighbors outside the room where her roommate and a man indulge. Meanwhile, a man dressed in tattered clothes, wearing a helmet and holding a toy gun, wanders the streets of America, accompanied by an uplifting battle anthem. Milena meets a Soviet People's Artist, and their differences ultimately lead to an absurd yet desperate conclusion.
