Dancer Ah Ru (played by Ng Kun-ju) is a hopeless gambler who borrows money from her sisters to bet on horse racing but ends up losing everything. With no options left, she goes to the home of her best friend Ah O (played by Jiang Xin Yan) to raise funds, threatening to take her own life if unsuccessful. Coincidentally, Ah O has been swindled by her boyfriend, leading her to despair and decide to accompany Ah Ru to the afterlife. Ah Ru reluctantly tries various methods of suicide with her friend, but all efforts fail. In the end, when Ah O hopes to jump from a building to end her life, Ah Ru accidentally falls instead. On the other hand, a gang leader seeks a shaman to bring back a female ghost from Malaysia, and during a chase involving an undercover agent, he mistakenly throws out a huge sum of money and a porcelain jar sealing the ghost, which lands in the hands of the lucky escaping Ah Ru.
