This film is the second part of director Michael Haneke's "Glacier Trilogy." Teenage Benny (played by Arno Frisch) has a passion for watching videos, and even has a camera in his own room. One day, he invites a stranger girl (played by Ingrid Stassner) he met outside a video store to his home to watch some family videos together. An accident happens while they are playing with a homemade air gun, and Benny kills the girl, recording the entire incident. A few days later, Benny confesses his crime to his mother (played by Angela Winkler) and father (played by Ulrich Mühe), who are shocked. The father decides to send the mother and Benny on a trip to Egypt while he stays behind to deal with the body. The question is, does Benny's crime simply vanish without a trace? This film won the FIPRESCI Prize at the European Film Festival and was nominated for Best Film at the European Film Awards.
