The protagonist, Sam (played by Chris Carmack), has a heavy past; a fire left his family shattered, and his sister, Jenny (played by Rachel Miner), perished in the flames due to his mistake. As an adult, Sam discovers he has the ability to travel through time. He uses this power to return to the fire scene, where he saves Jenny, but his parents, who should have escaped, die in the blaze. After changing the past, Sam and Jenny rely on each other, and Sam starts dating his girlfriend, Rebecca (played by Mia Serafino).
