Sister Monica lives in a house by the coast of Chile with a group of priests of varying ages. Besides daily prayers and confessions, they train Greyhounds for racing. What brought them here, to this damp, sticky world where a gentle breeze constantly blows? One day, a new priest arrives, but he faces severe accusations from others. The voice of the accuser grows louder until it is interrupted by the sound of a gunshot. The young priest chooses to evade the accusations through suicide. Investigators from above are sent, but do they truly want to uncover the truth? Perhaps their appearance is merely to maintain the beautiful facade of this place. The film gradually reveals the dark secrets, exploring the pasts of these servants of God and ruthlessly exposing the contradictions within the Catholic Church. The director's script accomplishes what the church itself has failed to do; it does not simply punish a scapegoat. The film strictly adheres to the rules and rituals of martyrdom in Christianity.
