Ma Rulong (played by Zheng Danrui) is an experienced and shrewd inspector. One day, he meets his former crush, Julia (played by Guan Zhilin), at a school reunion. Julia, now fair-skinned and beautiful, exudes charm that surpasses her past self. Meanwhile, their former classmate Ma Youyou has surprisingly become Julia's superior, which makes Ma Rulong feel quite envious.
