Rex Hoffman (played by Bernard-Pierre Donnadieu) and his girlfriend Saskia (played by Johanna ter Steege) have a very close relationship. During a trip, Diana, who goes to buy drinks, suddenly disappears. Everyone says her disappearance is just an excuse for Diana to leave Jeff, but this does not stop Jeff from pursuing and searching for Diana. Three years pass in the blink of an eye.
