In Los Angeles, there have been nine consecutive kidnapping cases. The victims come from various professions, including a priest (Marc Macaulay), a prosecutor (Melissa Joan Hart), an actor, and a club owner, and seemingly have no connection to each other. However, all the kidnappings are committed by the same person, a man wearing a blue mask and dressed in black. This case has shocked the city, prompting the police to mobilize fully, yet they have been unable to find any leads. Meanwhile, in dark and damp basements across the city, the nine kidnapped individuals are facing the most painful and torturous moments of their lives. The masked man demands that they contemplate the reasons for their abduction, and then kills one person every ten minutes until they find the answer. The hostages engage in intense arguments, attacking each other or reflecting on the mistakes they've made in their lives. Time ticks away, and the judgment of death draws closer...
