The son of the Gambling God, Sha San Shao (played by Tony Leung), and the heir of the Gambling King, Ren Tian Qiu (played by Ekin Cheng), decide to compete for the title of Supreme Gambling King through a match that consists of three games, with the winner being the first to win two. Sha San Shao has long been lazy and indifferent to becoming the Supreme Gambling King, content to be a minor character in the casino. Unsurprisingly, he suffers a crushing defeat to Ren Tian Qiu in the first round. After some consideration, he decides to ask the Gambling Saint, Xu Wen Long (played by Tony Leung Ka Fai), for help. The housekeeper, Sister Mei (played by Eric Tsang), also invites the detective Luo Ba (played by Tony Leung Ka Fai) and the quirky hero Yi Zhi Mei (played by Eric Tsang) to guard against assassins sent by Ren Tian Qiu. In order to ensure success in the upcoming matches, Sha San Shao repeatedly attempts to steal the secrets of card manipulation but fails each time, ultimately being unable to participate due to an accident. Is this how the Sha family will be defeated? How will Xu Wen Long and the others turn this defeat around?
