After jointly defeating Ma Jiao Wen, King (played by Andy Lau) and Hua Gu Long (played by Nick Cheung) teamed up with Hua Gu Long's cousin A Le (played by Chan Baak Cheung) to swindle a sum of money from the villain Da Yan Wen. Just as they planned to enjoy their spoils, Da Yan Wen captured Hua Gu Long. King and A Le were then taken by the police to meet with senior officials from the Chinese side, where they were assigned to Las Vegas to catch the big cheat Peter Zhu (played by Michael Chan). To obtain a large sum of money to rescue Hua Gu Long, King accepted this mission and headed to Las Vegas. In Las Vegas, Xiao Xin (played by Yu Fang) and A Bian (played by Lin Xi Lei) are eager to find a wealthy husband, and later they join King’s cheating crew. Eventually, they encounter Peter, with both sides deceiving each other in multiple confrontations, leading to rising hostility. King successfully baited Peter using A Bian, and they traveled through the desert road to Los Angeles, during which Peter desperately attempted to escape. A fierce battle ensued in the desert. Peter’s men even tried to rescue him with a helicopter, but luckily King had a clever plan and managed to bring Peter back to Hong Kong safely.
