A wealthy man with the surname Luo firmly believes in destiny and, to ensure his fortune, makes his wife and a maid each pregnant, leading to the simultaneous birth of two sons. Master Gao determines that the two sons are reincarnated as the wealth-attracting star and the disaster star... Years later, on the streets of Hong Kong, there is a young man named Luo Siliang (played by Zhang Jiahui), who bets on winning but brings misfortune to his family. Ever since he accidentally caused the death of his biological father at the age of three, he has been raised by his third uncle, with only his childhood friend Ah Hua (played by Yang Gongru) occasionally caring for him. Meanwhile, Siliang's half-brother Situ Dingyi (played by Du Dewei), under Master Gao's protection, enjoys great fortune and easily humiliates the gambling king Li Dasheng with his superior gambling skills. To maintain his good luck, Dingyi keeps Siliang under control for over twenty years, until Siliang is sent to a gambling research center by Li Dasheng. There, Siliang meets an "alien orphan" (played by Li CanSen) and finally realizes that he has been living in an illusion. Facing a major crisis in life, Dingyi plots to frame Siliang in order to change his fortune, leading to an inevitable brotherly showdown...
