This film is a social realism movie directed by the famous actor Wang Zhong. Lu Liangwei and Li Xiuxian play mixed-blood Chinese-Vietnamese characters who escape from Vietnam to Macau; Lu was born in Hong Kong and is allowed to stay there, leading to a separation from Li. Zheng Zeshi plays Lu's uncle, a capable police detective who introduces Lu into the police force and assigns him to go undercover. Later, Zheng is killed during a confrontation with Vietnamese gangsters; meanwhile, Li becomes embroiled in this murder case...
