Working together at a car repair shop, the foul-mouthed character (played by Chow Yun-fat), Traffic Light (played by Chan Boy-chung), and Wu Jun Shao (played by Eric Tsang) are colleagues and friends who disdain their miserly and harsh boss, Lau Ding Kin (played by Fung Shui Fan). Foul-mouthed had to painfully break up with his girlfriend (played by Cherie Chung) due to her snobbish mother. Lau Ding Kin suggests that the guys join a cheap travel group to Penang, but upon arrival, they discover that the tour is not what it claimed to be. However, in Penang, Foul-mouthed and his friends meet Dong Dong (played by Maggie Cheung), who is filming an advertisement there, along with her friend. Foul-mouthed wants to get closer to Dong Dong, pretending to be a wealthy heir, while Dong Dong also deceives him by pretending to be a rich girl. When they attend a ball together, they offend the real wealthy guy Zhao Wanxian, who is also interested in Dong Dong. In revenge, Zhao exposes Foul-mouthed's true identity to Dong Dong, who feels very hurt by the deception. Dong Dong prepares to attend Zhao's ball, but she and her friend are unaware that the vicious Zhao has ulterior motives, prompting Foul-mouthed and his friends to rush to her rescue.
